Why kinesiology? Because it has the potential to change your life for the better! I’ve yet to meet anyone who has not felt great after having had a kinesiology session.
Kinesiology addresses the four key areas that make a person – emotional health, nutritional health, structural health, energetic health. But the real key to improved health and wellbeing is the way in which a kinesiologist gives extra attention to your emotional health. Almost every physical condition is rooted in, or in some way impacted by, our emotional state.
What should I expect?
We start your kinesiology session (often called a balance) with setting a goal. What is it you want to achieve from having kinesiology? With this information and using muscle testing, your body will show up whether there are emotional, physical, mental, nutritional issues that need to be resolved. So what can you expect from having a kinesiology appointment?
Everyone is different, but possible responses are:
- Increased energy and vitality
- A sense of peace
- Improvement in mobility
- Deeper and more restful sleep
- Reduced appetite for sugars and junk
- Deeper and more relaxed breathing
- Improved posture and postural awareness
Depending on the nature of your issue or symptoms a number of sessions will be required. Each person responds differently to the healing process so the number of sessions needed varies.
In my experience I have found that at least three sessions per issue or symptom is the most effective at helping you achieve lasting change. If you are serious about addressing your problem, be prepared to commit to a number of sessions. I always muscle test to find how how many sessions you actually need. It is then up to you to decide whether you want to continue or not.
After a kinesiology session you feel calmer in the mind and heart and have a better understanding of your specific issues and blocks. You will feel happier, relieved and sense of “everything is going to be ok”.
Quite simply, kinesiology helps you feel better about yourself and life.
I had been suffering shoulder pain for three months before I had my treatments with Susan. I had been prescribed anti-inflammatory medicine and had even been given a corticosteroid injection to help ease the pain. After three sessions with Susan all my shoulder pain had gone and I was able to do simple day to day activities the pain had not allowed – like lying on my left side to sleep, raising my arm to get something off a high shelf. I didn’t really know anything about kinesiology, but now I know it works wonders. Felisa – West Wollongong
What is kinesiology?
PKP Kinesiology is a holistic protocol which looks for the energetic blocks. As part of the balancing process your body will show up whether there are emotional, physical, mental, nutritional issues that need to be resolved.
We start with setting a goal for your session which targets what you want to achieve from having kinesiology. I then muscle test, with your goal in mind, and your body will show us the relevant corrections to help you clear any blocks, along with the relevant emotional aspect.
Kinesiology is a natural therapy that combines Eastern Medicine Philosophy with a foundation of anatomy and physiology. It aims to uncover and treat the cause behind presenting symptoms. Kinesiology can work on structural, emotional, nutritional, mental and spiritual issues. Each treatment is individual, using information gained from muscle testing to help you identify those things that are preventing optimal health or reaching your full potential Herbs or supplements may be recommended to help reinforce a balance.
Kinesiology taps into the body’s natural healing processes. Muscles become monitors of stress and imbalance in the body and muscle testing is a bio-feedback mechanism into the mind. If you think of your body like a computer that records everything that happens in your life (cellular memory); muscle testing taps into this information to help you understand what is going on and provides techniques to help the body’s natural healing process.
Thank you very much for seeing me on Saturday. Our session has given me much to consider and reflect upon. I am still amazed and in awe in many respects, as to the issues that came to the surface resulting from what my body expressed to you. Many of which, I’d never really considered in any light, to relate to some of the stress I deal with both at home and at work. Alison – Drummoyne
